In the Room Experiential Supervision —Apprenticeship Model

Description

Participants will gain practical, evidence-informed competencies in clinical supervision, including :

• The supervisory frame, case formulation, and tools for tracking treatment across sessions
• Comparative analysis of supervision modalities: case-based, video/audio, process notes, and live experiential supervision
• Theory and practical implementation of the Cognitive Apprenticeship Model (CAM) of psychotherapy supervision
• The triad structure (supervisor, trainee, patient) across opening, working-through, and termination phases
• Six CAM teaching tools: Modeling, Coaching, Scaffolding, Articulation, Reflection, and Exploration
• Developing individualized case formulations that target strengths, vulnerabilities, stressors, and therapeutic goals
• Evidence-informed methods for promoting adaptive functioning, resilience, and incremental behavioral change
