A practice-driven 20 hours of training for psychotherapists. Dates: Feb 17 April 16 2026

A practice-driven training for mental health professionals looking to strengthen therapeutic effectiveness. Through 10 expert-led seminars and 10 weeks of small-group supervision, you’ll master patient selection, diagnostic clarity, working alliance, personality organization assessment, resistance management, and evidence-informed supportive interventions.

Participants should simultaneously be treating 2 patients of their own, as these are the cases to be discussed in supervision. Participants will receive individualized feedback. All materials provided. 20 CE credits available for MDs, NPs, and LCSWs/LMSWs.

Robert E. Feinstein, MD is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, psychoanalyst, psychotherapist and educator at Northwell/Zucker/Hofstra School of Medicine. He has 30 years of experience training psychotherapist of all disciplines at all levels of expertise. He has won multiple national and regional teaching awards for his innovative supervision approach. He specializes in creating innovative training approaches that strengthen therapeutic practice.
